About Me

Hi! I’m Zach, otherwise known as The Dunewalker on the TESO-RP forums. I’m a writer of scripted work and prose, a voice talent based out of Indianapolis, and – for the purposes of this site specifically – an avid fan of the Elder Scrolls series. I spent enough hours in Morrowind to turn my copy into a dendrochronological record of my childhood, hundreds of hours worn gently into the face of the disc.

A graduate of 2015 with a degree in theatre and English creative writing, I’ve been working on developing and putting my skills to use ever since. But what’s a young professional in the world without a hobby? It struck me that I could entertain my geeky passion for the lore of imaginary worlds and practice honing my skills all at the same time! Since I’ve been roleplaying for almost ten years now, the Elder Scrolls Online roleplaying community seemed like the perfect place to get involved.

Surrounded by people with similar interests and the same, inexplicable urge to explore every facet of a fictional universe, I was inspired to start this project.

About this Site

This site serves two functions.

First, I wanted to create a character off the beaten path of mercenary, assassin, sorcerer, thief, et cetera; one whose only exceptional talent is his mundane intellect. No magic, no guile, no extraordinary dexterity or strength – just a commoner in the world of Tamriel. Arientus Pontoria Falvim is a representative of the millions of Imperial citizens that we never see. This site will serve as his diary, and his story will be told through both writing and recordings.

Second, to serve as an audio library of Tamriel’s books. The inspiration behind this stems from several sources which I’ll be happy to detail if you like, but suffice it to say I somehow find Elder Scrolls lore more interesting and digestible in audio format. Some of these entries will serve as extensions to Arientus’ storyline, as he discovers new books across the continent, and others will simply be read because I was interested in them (especially since most books take place after ESO!).

In general, I really hope you all enjoy my submissions! I’ll endeavor to post frequently. Honestly, the biggest step for me was creating this site. Now that it’s so pretty, I feel obligated to put it to use!
